Domain Backorder
What exactly is a domain backorder? How exactly does the backorder process work?
When a domain expires, there's a time period of a little over sixty days when it's inactive, but could still be renewed by the current user. During this period, the domain cannot be taken by anybody else, but if it's not renewed, it gets into the so-called Pending Deletion period which lasts 5 days. This is when ICANN-accredited registrar firms take backorders for these domains. When a given name is backordered, the registrar will try to register it for the customer immediately after it is deleted and offered to the general public, which gives people the opportunity to obtain a short and memorable domain which may have been used by somebody else until now. If the domain is really appealing, a couple of companies may try to register it in the same time and due to the fact that this happens on a first-come, first-serve basis, there's no guarantee that a particular person will get that domain name. Nevertheless, using a backorder service will give you a better chance to acquire a particular domain than when you try to register it manually.

Domain Backorder in Cloud Hosting
We provide a domain name backorder service with all our
cloud hosting plans and you can employ it from your Hepsia Control Panel. For your convenience, you can customize the list of domains which you see by their extension, exact deletion date and length, so you shall not have to browse through thousands of domains to find if a suitable one will be available soon enough. You can also search for a certain word or a phrase in the domain list. In case we're able to register the desired domain name for you, it will be listed along with any other domain names which you have here and you will be able to take care of it just as quickly. We offer the service at very affordable prices when compared with other registrars and in case we are not able to obtain a domain name for you, your money shall be available in your account, so you will be able to use it for other domains or internet hosting services.

Domain Backorder in Semi-dedicated Servers
We have decided to include a domain backorder service to the Hepsia Control Panel that is available with all
semi-dedicated server accounts, so you shall not need to subscribe to a different platform. The service will enable you to register a domain and host it from a single place. All the domain names scheduled to be erased in the following days will be placed in the Backorder part of Hepsia and you will be able to browse them in alphabetical order. To narrow the number, you could search by a particular phrase, specify the minimum and maximum number of characters the domain name should contain, and choose a specific extension. You will also be able to browse domain names by the date they'll be erased. Since there is no 100% guarantee that we'll be able to register a particular domain, in case our attempt is not successful, the funds for that domain name will be available as a credit inside your account and will not be lost.

Domain Backorder in Dedicated Servers
In case you have a
dedicated server from our company, you will be able to backorder a domain name right from your billing Control Panel and will never have to register for a different platform since we partner with an ICANN-accredited registrar. A separate section in the Control Panel is dedicated to this service and you'll find a list of all domain names scheduled to be deleted there. Thanks to the filters which we've added to save you time, you can easily choose to see domain names from a specific date, to define the maximum and minimum length and to select an extension, thus narrowing the list you shall have to look through. You can also enter a given phrase or select to see domain names that include dictionary words and are not only a random mix of letters and numbers. It takes only a mouse click to order a domain from the list and if we are unable to register it before somebody else does that, you won't lose your money and it will be added as a credit to your account.
