Having full root-level access means that you can access and modify each file on a particular server, in addition to all of the system files, and to change system settings or set up server-side software that may be required by specific scripts and even offline applications to work effectively. A server is accessed at the root level via a root user, who has full privileges to do any of the abovementioned things. Your root user may also generate various other users. For security reasons, you are advised to have a different account for day-to-day tasks and to use the root account only if you actually need to perform a specific task on the server. The root-level access feature offers you full control over your server from any existing location, provided that you have the user credentials.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
If you get one of the dedicated servers that we provide, you will have full root-level access and you can do anything that you cannot do using a shared hosting account - to change the server-side PHP settings, to set up frameworks or media streaming software, etcetera. You will be able to order the server without any hosting Control Panel and do everything using a console, unless you install some third-party tool, or you can order it with cPanel or DirectAdmin and use a web-based graphical interface to control your web sites and many system settings. In all three cases, you will have full control over your machine. The huge amount of system resources which you will have makes our dedicated packages an excellent choice for any type of content that you want to have. The servers which are ordered with the Hepsia Control Panel are easier to take care of, but the root access to such a server will be restricted.
